Privacy policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

This policy explains what information Athula collects when you visit athula.co, why we collect it and the choices you have. Athula is a MarTech and data transformation consultancy founded and run by Filip von Reiche.

The short version

What we collect

Contact form. Your name, work email, company (optional) and your message.

Fit check. The description you type into the fit check. Please leave out personal or confidential details.

Analytics. If analytics is on, Google Analytics collects information about your visit, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We also record simple events, such as whether a form was sent, without anything you typed.

Security logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

How we use it

How AI is used

The fit check sends your description to an AI model (Meta's Llama, run on Cloudflare Workers AI) to write an answer. Contact form messages are also checked by the same model to flag likely spam before Filip reads them. Answers from the fit check are generated automatically and can be wrong, so please treat them as a starting point. We don't use what you type to train AI models.

Cookies

The site itself works without cookies. The only cookies come from Google Analytics:

If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, these cookies are only set after you accept them. Everywhere else, analytics is on by default and you can turn it off. Advertising features are off for everyone. Your choice is saved in your browser, and you can change it at any time:

You can also block cookies in your browser, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they may only use your information to provide their service to us:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We never sell personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to respond and follow up on a possible engagement, and delete them sooner if you ask. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. To make a request, send a message through the contact form and say it's a privacy request. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're in Europe or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

The site uses HTTPS everywhere, strict security headers and spam protection on its forms. No method of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

Children

This site is for business professionals and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
